FreeTango® mit Live-Musik

Friends of modern tango can look forward to a special highlight: on Friday, April 4, the popular monthly dance event FreeTango® at the "Balou" cultural center in Dortmund-Brackel will once again be enriched with live music. Starting at 20:00, renowned singer Kerstin Brix and award-winning pianist Roman Babik will provide a rousing musical atmosphere.

The two artists met 15 years ago in the Mediterranean ensemble Cantasudmusikalischand have been inspiring audiences with their unique combination of virtuosity and expressiveness ever since. Roman Babik, a trained jazz pianist, has won several international awards and has performed at the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, among others. Kerstin Brix, a trained opera singer, is known for her vocal range, which extends from chansons to jazz and soul. Her voice has already accompanied major musical, orchestral and big band performances.

The energy is maintained during the dance breaks: As usual, a selection of rousing canned tango music ensures the perfect dancing mood.
