Frei Art Festival - Spring Edition: 1.-4. Mai 2025

Workshops, seminars for dance teachers, international performances and the Theater Dortmund with the Junior Ballet NRW as guests at Studio Pro Arte in cooperation with the German Professional Association for Dance Pedagogy "DBfT".

In our Spring Edition of the Frei Art Festival, the Spring Dance Days 2025, everything revolves around the versatility of dance:

• Workshops and seminar for dance pedagogy: together with the DBfT (German Professional Association for Dance Pedagogy), Studio Pro Arte is organizing the seminar series with a focus on creativity.

• Network meeting of international dance educators and dance studio directors.

• Guest performance at Theater Dortmund (NRW Junior Ballet) shows pieces from the current repertoire.

• 5-day performance project for women (28.04.-01.05.)

• Open Stage with International Open Call for Artists and music

• Yoga & Brunch - end the weekend with yoga and a fantastic brunch

Workshops and seminar for dance pedagogy

Together with the DBfT (German Professional Association for Dance Pedagogy), we invite dance teachers to deepen their skills in promoting creativity in dance classes. The focus is on both their own creative development as teachers and the targeted support of students.

The seminar sheds light on what creativity in dance means, how it can be specifically stimulated and taught and the essential role it plays in dance and personal development.

Experienced lecturers such as Reiner Behr (Tanztheater Pina Bausch) and Bruno Genty (Anton Bruckner University Linz/Paris) share their knowledge and inspire new approaches. More information here

Talks, sharing and networking

Talks and sharing offer a platform for exchange and networking between international dance school directors, dance educators and interested parties. Program 1st May 2025
