Times like these call for political music - and Freidenkeralarm have dedicated themselves to exactly that. The quartet from Trier make straightforward and clearly positioned political punk with the hope that if this world cannot be changed immediately, then at least they can give people at their shows the feeling that they are not alone with all their worries, fears and anger. In this way, Freidenkeralarm create a sound between seriousness, irony and optimism - garnished with biting criticism both of the prevailing conditions and of themselves. Always with an eye on the fact that the difficult path to a liberated society without fascism, racism, sexism, homophobia and trans-hostility, oppression and exploitation can be paved, at least in part, with cracking punk.
