On July 19, 2025, Volunteer Day Munich-Mitte will take place for the first time in the districts of Maxvorstadt, Altstadt- Lehel, Ludwigsvorstadt- Isarvorstadt.

Committed citizens have the opportunity to volunteer for a social institution, association or initiative for a day. "Doing good together - for a district worth living in" is the motto of this day.

Anyone interested can now register for one of the hands-on activities on the website www.freiwilligentag-muenchen.de. Under the patronage of Third Mayor Verena Dietl, numerous charitable organizations from the city districts are taking part in the day.

Volunteers can, for example, build a house for bats, help the Start with a friend association distribute flyers, lend a hand at the diversity youth center or get involved in bingo at the Vincentinum retirement and nursing home.
