This is a brand new band project with absolutely wonderful musicians. The attribute "Fresh" is therefore program. Johannes Fink has long enriched the Berlin and international jazz scene as a cellist and bassist. Olga Reznichenko is an outstanding jazz pianist who trained in Rostov and Leipzig; Greg Smith is a sought-after drummer who shuttles back and forth between Rotterdam and Berlin, while the founder of the band, Kellen Tryon Mills, comes from Seattle. He has now settled in Berlin. Kellen Tryon Mills composes many of his own pieces, but is also at home in the improvised and experimental music scene. It is precisely this style of music that is almost "mainstream" in Berlin and exerts a fascination on many musicians in other countries, which ultimately motivates them to move to Berlin and "immerse" themselves completely in this music, which celebrates experimentation and improvisation.
