Installative performance by OPEN HOUSE

OPEN HOUSE is openly hungry. This time it eats the PATHOS theater. No poster, letter or logo survives. No PATHOS sticker sticks. No flyer flies around. No more sticky wrist-stroking admission stamps. No more Storck giants. No fruity, refreshing Fritz Kola Spritz. No more Mango Smash. No dance floor. No sound controller to control the sound of the columns we crush. No loudspeaker. No talking while eating! No HDMI, DMX or XLR cables, we devour them like spaghetti carbonara. No profile spotlight, no floodlight, no blinder. They all make our stomachs light up from the inside. No track remnants, this streetcar travels at 200km/h. End of the line: our Tummy. No multiple sockets (we chew them several times). Nothing remains. Everything disappears into our slithering, forever hungry, collective maw. PATHOS theater taste. OPEN HOUSE, open 2 eat. OPEN HOUSE on the hunt. Eat or be eaten.

About OPEN HOUSE

We are Open House, a self-organized group of young people and young adults who want to work politically and self-determinedly in the theater before professionalizing themselves. Professionalization in theater has many thresholds: the education threshold, the income threshold, the age threshold. Many - especially young - people bounce off these thresholds and fail to make it into the elite world of theater.
