Fridas Pier is the most exciting club project in the Stuttgart area for years. Frida used to be called Wilhelm Knipscheer: a 60-year-old barge that has been converted into an event and club ship with great attention to detail and has now found its new home port at an old coal loading site. Between steel and concrete, ship's crane and conveyor belts, the Kulturwerft was realized on the Neckar. Frida's heart beats deep below the surface of the water. While 900 tons of gravel and coal used to be stored here, the basses from the Funktion One system tuned by the Godfather of Soundsystems, Tony Andrews himself, now resound underwater. The parallels to Bahnwärter Thiel as an avant-garde cultural center are obvious, so that Frida is now making its second guest appearance in Munich and showing itself from its best side with fellow headliner Jonas Saalbach and the two residents Marius Lehnert and Miss Evoice. Thiel and Frida - a wonderful couple!
