Six years after the promising EP "Royal Family", which received international acclaim and was played on BBC radio, the Sandman Project continues to cross cultural and musical boundaries. With their combination of groove, jazz and global influences, they have performed at festivals in India, England and the Middle East, living up to their reputation as a ground-breaking act.

The following album "WHERE DID YOU GO?" is a sound mosaic full of rhythmic groove, electrifying guitar sounds and cinematic soundscapes. Inspired by traditional African music, Indian ragas, soul-jazz trumpet solos and the timeless soundtracks of Ennio Morricone, the album evokes the nostalgia of the 90s while reinterpreting global beats for the modern listener. It's a transcendent journey that combines dreamy summer vibes with groundbreaking genres: Afrobeat, soul, psychedelia, nu-jazz and Mediterranean fusion.

Following the relocation of band leader Tal Sandman to Leipzig, she is now continuing the Sandman project with new outstanding musicians known in the scene in her formative style.
