Peace work in times of war?

At a time when Europe is experiencing a massive arms build-up and the threat of nuclear war seems greater than it has been for decades, the question of effective peace work is more urgent than ever.

MACHWERK invites you to a joint discussion with the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, and the German Peace Society - United War Resisters (DFG-VK), Germany's oldest peace organization.

In addition to an introduction to the project and its pioneering work, we want to discuss the following questions, among others: How can peace work succeed in times of war? What options for action do civil society and politics have in the face of growing tensions and nuclear threats? What can each individual do to work for a peaceful and nuclear-free future?
