Friedensfest-Lauf

In the organizer's words:

Take part in the Peace Run at the Augsburg Peace Festival! The race lasts one hour - all age groups start together and run the 750-meter circuit as often as they want. Each participant decides for themselves whether they want to run the full hour or stop when they have reached their personal finishing mark. The time is recorded professionally using an RFID chip.

There are numerous scoring categories: Children, young people and adults compete in different age groups. In addition, groups of five people are judged separately. The first-place finishers receive trophies and certificates, while the second and third-place finishers receive medals and certificates.

The registration deadline is May 11. Later registrations are possible, but without a shirt. Race numbers will be issued on the day of the event at set times. Refreshments will be provided with water along the course and fruit in the finish area.

Rules for all participants of the charity run at the small peace festival

Each participant acknowledges the organizer's exclusion of liability for damages of any kind and waives the right to assert claims for damages and injuries of any kind against the organizer, the sponsors of the run and the owners of private paths.

Each participant warrants that he/she has trained sufficiently for participation in this race, is physically healthy, that the information provided on registration is correct and that he/she will not pass on his/her race number to any other person.

The information provided with the registration and photos and videos taken during the event may be used and passed on without any claim to remuneration.

Every participant must behave in such a way that they do not hinder or endanger others. Especially at the joint start of the hobby run and Nordic walking, walkers with sticks or baby carriages should line up at the back. Dogs and other animals are not allowed on the run. It is not permitted to overtake or stop in the finish channel. The helpers must be obeyed at all times.

Failure to comply with the conditions of participation may result in disqualification and further civil and criminal proceedings.
