The Cologne cemetery gardeners invite you to a guided tour of the Dünnwald cemetery on July 6, 2025. Everyone who is interested in exciting, interesting, curious and sometimes amusing facts from centuries of cemetery history is welcome.

The guided tour with Günter Leitner, a well-known cemetery expert and Cologne connoisseur, will not only include large and small graves worth seeing and appropriate Cologne tales. Gardening tips from the Zillken cemetery nursery on the correct use of plants and professional summer care will be passed on.

During the tour, the "burial gardens", which were opened in 2023 as an alternative burial site at Dünnwald cemetery, will also be presented. There you will find professionally maintained resting places that are embedded in a varied environment and can also be reserved during your lifetime.
