Choreographer Sasha Waltz had her international breakthrough in the very year her company was founded. With her first full-length piece, TRAVELOGUE I - TWENTY TO EIGHT. Just one month after its premiere in September 1993, this dance sensation could already be experienced at the Theater im Pumpenhaus. And captivated the audience with a completely unusual, surprising language of movement. On the occasion of our 40th theater birthday, we are now returning to the origins with Sasha Waltz & Guests. TWENTY TO EIGHT is back! With a new generation of dancers, the successful choreographer proves that her iconic production has lost none of its wit and relevance even after more than three decades. A surreally displaced everyday life unfolds here. With objects that have a mind of their own. Full of encounters that both cleverly and playfully reflect human interaction.
