When his violent brother MIRKO (Franz Pätzold) is released from prison early, KAI (Louis Hofmann) begins an insane race against time. KAI owes MIRKO money - a lot of money. In an attempt to settle his debts, Kai gets caught up in a fatal spiral of violence, while the clock ticks menacingly in the background.

Atmospheric, intense and relentlessly raw, FRISCH shows the dark dynamics of two unequal brothers in the "Wild West" of the Ruhr Valley, played by Louis Hofmann (DER PASSFÄLSCHER, DARK) and new cinema discovery Franz Pätzold. FRISCH, the third feature film by director Damian John Harper (WOODWALKERS) is based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Mark McNay.
