Back in Germany in May 2025

The band's music is characterized by catchy melodies, energetic performances and a mix of indie rock, folk and pop. Friska Viljor are known for their rousing live performances and their ability to infect the audience with their positive energy.

In their 17-year career, the two Stockholm-based indie pop musicians Daniel Johansson and Joakim Sveningsson, alias Friska Viljor, have now written eight albums. From September 27, versions of 10 old songs will be released every two weeks, followed by new singles and a new album, which will be released in spring 2025. We are looking forward to it!

Their international career began during a trip to Hamburg, during which they made friends with a couple of Hamburgers. This led to their first gigs in record stores, bars and living rooms and eventually to a record deal with a German label. From there, they took hearts by storm and their exceptionally loyal fan base grew with every album and every concert. How nice that the upcoming tour was announced during their performance at the Reeperbahn Festival - bringing everything full circle.
