Frühlingserwachen - Beschwingte Klänge mit dem Duo Walzerine

Under the motto "Spring Awakening", the duo "Walzerine" takes us into a world of music that celebrates spring in all its facets. Flutist Bianca Alecu and accordionist Irina Kawerina present a varied program with verve and elegance in charming ¾ time: for example, sounds from Johann Strauss's "Frühlingsstimmen-Walzer" to jazz ballads by Frank Marocco.

Bianca Alecu has been performing in various chamber music ensembles since 2009. She has performed as a flautist and piccoloist in orchestras and on well-known stages around the world, from the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg to the Teatro Massimo Pescara in Italy and the Liebfrauenmünster in Strasbourg. She founded the Medea Orchestra in 2018.

Irina Kawerina attended the renowned Volgograd Art College and then the conservatory in Sobinov before founding the Meteor Quartet. For many years, the accordionist accompanied the legendary singer Ivan Rebroff on his tours through Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
