Event organized by the Leipzig Witch Hunt Reappraisal Working Group
The working group was founded to initiate a public debate on the persecution of witches. CHRISTINE RIETZKE, initiator of the working group, talks about the changing "role of women". In the second part, MADELEINE APITZSCH, Germanist/historian, will present witch trials in the Leipzig district that took place between 1479 and 1730.
