The tour focuses on the important photographic work of Dirk Reinartz. As a freelance photojournalist, Reinartz was always on the lookout for motifs that told something about people in their time. He captured socio-political developments, cultural upheavals and concrete life situations in subtle photographic narratives. One theme that interested him throughout his life was the search for German identity, with all its contradictions and historical anchors. His photographs cover an impressive arc from the middle to the end of the 20th century.
