For many people, the small park at the Stadtmuseum is a popular green refuge between Carlstadt and the Zitadellviertel. Parts of the formerly private gardens belonging to Palais Spee date back to the plans of Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe. Bordered by the walls of the Maria Amalia bastion, this area and the rose garden are also inviting because of the works of art placed here. Sigrid Kleinbongartz, Deputy Director of the City Museum, will guide you through the garden and its surroundings.
