In the organizer's words:

Mankind has always been fascinated by space. The first traces of this allure can be found in the Stone Age and continue to this day in art, history and science. Can we survive in space? And what does it mean for us as humanity to travel to and colonize distant planets? Can we prevent an uncontrolled race that leaves the cosmos and its treasures to a powerful few?

Come with us into space: experts from aerospace research, the social sciences, literature and art have joined us in the search for answers, ideas and fantasies for this exhibition. And so we look longingly, but also with a critical eye, up to the stars, forward into a future to be shaped, but also back - to the parallels with "terrestrial" colonial and emigration history.
