Führung: Leipzigs Stadtgeschichte(n) im Alten Rathaus

Between Leipzig's early days and the present are three floors of exhibitions in the Old Town Hall, hundreds of objects and thousands of stories. Admission and individual visits to the permanent exhibition are free of charge. Every 3rd Friday of the month at 2 pm, the museum's curators present individual facets of the city's history during 60-minute themed tours. Whether you are a Leipzig resident or a guest of the city - everyone can get to know old and new perspectives here.

On 17.1. Ulrike Dura (curator of art history) will lead a tour with the focus on "Citizens, gardens, trading houses. Leipzig in the 18th century".

On February 21, Kerstin Sieblist (Curator of Music History) will lead a tour focusing on "Johann Sebastian Bach in the Old Town Hall".

On March 21, Tim Rood (responsible for outreach and museum development) and Lea Sante (research volunteer) will guide visitors through the exhibition on the topic: "Isn't something missing here?" Recent urban history and the intervention of the project apartment krudebude e.V.
