The stories of the archaeological quarter are closely linked to its neighborhood and Cologne's city history. On a tour around the area, you can experience which archaeological finds from 2000 years ago reveal the history of the site and how coexistence in the quarter has developed over the centuries. You will also learn more about how an exhibition is created in a museum and gain an insight into the architecture and design.
The tour starts at 4 pm at the MiQua:forum and is repeated at 6 pm.
During the tour around the building site, everything in the MiQua:forum revolves around the question: MiQua - what is it actually? Director Thomas Otten invites you to a discussion from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. - for anyone who would like to use the time until the next tour or ask further questions afterwards.
