--- Open Memorial Day --- The EL-DE House's journey from Gestapo headquarters to an open place of remembrance and education

Get to know the EL-DE House as the former headquarters of the Secret State Police, as an authentic place with the cells largely preserved in their original state, including 1800 contemporary inscriptions by the prisoners.

But also take a look at the history of the house after 1945 and learn more about the development of this place in terms of the culture of remembrance, from the first initiatives and protests to the municipal museum and well-known memorial, research and educational site.
