Discover Munich in a whole new way: on a guided tour through the exhibition "What the City. Perspectives on our city" in the historic arsenal of the Münchner Stadtmuseum, followed by a walk through the city!

The exhibition explores a wide variety of perspectives on the city of Munich from the past, present and future. Ten chapters - so-called cities - illuminate facets of the Bavarian capital. Central current questions are addressed: How can the city be made greener and more liveable? Is the cliché that Munich residents are rich and chic true? How liveable is the city for people affected by poverty? How is the queer community fighting for equal rights and how are anti-racist movements shaping the identity of urban society? And what's going on in Munich's nightlife?

In this interactive discussion and city walk, we invite you to discover new perspectives on the city and join in the discussion yourself.

A cooperation between the Münchner Volkshochschule and the Münchner Stadtmuseum.

Participation costs 5 euros. Tickets by phone on Mondays and Tuesdays 9 am to 1 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 2 pm to 7 pm, Tel. 089-48006-6239 or online at mvhs.de. Remaining tickets on site from the lecturer. Meeting point is in the entrance area of the "What the City" exhibition at St.-Jakobs-Platz.
