FUN FUN CRISIS

Fun Fun Crisis - a band with history - want to know it again. Speed, groove and guitars, songs and sounds from the last millennium, rousing, classic and yet always timeless. Fun Fun Crisis want to take people on a journey back to a time without streaming, autotune and casting shows, when Hanover bands met in Glocksee cellars, released long-playing records and followed their ideals by making music.

Fun Fun Crisis are actually like a big family that emerged from the Cretins in a smooth transition in the 90s. "Many people have enriched the family, followed our path and created musical gems with their ideas and commitment." "Kommander" Karsten Kniep (drums, percussion) and Menne Reimann (vocals, guitar), two of the founding members, came together in the 90s with Benny Tautfest (bass, vocals) and Tommy Krammling (guitar, vocals, drums) to form the last Fun Fun Crisis line-up and it is precisely this line-up that is now picking up speed again after 25 years. "Basically, we could have performed as Cretins, but after the old German punk numbers, we simply moved on with new ideas and a new name". Nevertheless, of course you can't do without a few Cretins songs and the result is a mix of groovy, speedy indie numbers that really get going. "Fishing For Compliments", "Always On My Mind", "Man Between Walls", a selection of the catchy tunes that are always likely to be hits and can be found on various record releases.
