Comedy about a society that has nothing more to say but simply can't shut up. Three people want to listen to the silence and find themselves - if only they could keep quiet for five minutes. Instead, they chatter on and on, reproducing phrases from a media-social background noise about a changing world that they no longer understand. Babbling away to drown out their own emptiness.

ONE STEP FURTHER
How do young playwrights view the upheavals of our time? What is important to them? In the new series EIN STÜCK WEITER, the FWT: presents current dramatic positions that are brought to the stage in quick productions with just two weeks of rehearsal time and provide strong artistic impulses on what is on society's nerves and kidneys.
It starts on 18.09.2025 with "fünf minuten stille" by Leo Meier. This will be followed the very next month by "Die Katze Eleonore" by Caren Jeß on 23.10.2025. The series will then continue at the beginning of 2026 with Sivan Ben Yishai's "Bühnenbeschimpfung". Always one piece further.
