How long can you watch something that doesn't actually happen? That isn't actually there. And which is also meeeeega boring. In other words, boring nothingness!
How can you really bore an audience? This is the challenge that the Fusion.club, founded especially and only for the club fusion, has set itself together with the Israeli choreographer Renana Raz. The club is hitting the fusion turbo and putting on a piece about one of the most important feelings (or states) of being human on an urban space stage in one of the most boring places in Leipzig in just 6 days. But as we said - we warn you: this will definitely be the most boring play in the world ...

Renana Raz is one of Israel's leading choreographers and is active in numerous artistic genres - both on stage as a choreographer and dancer as well as in television and cinema.
A central theme of her work is the effect of context on the perception of content. She deliberately removes elements from their original environment and places them in new, often surprising contexts. This approach lends her works a unique originality and innovative power. Raz combines dance, theater and performance art to create a multi-layered, experimental form of expression.
She has received numerous awards for her artistic work, including the Israeli Ministry of Culture Award for young choreographers (2002, 2003) and the prize for best choreography at the Israeli Theatre Awards (2004). Her works are performed and acclaimed internationally.

FUSION.CLUB
The Fusion.Club is the intergenerational festival club of Clubfusion! The absolute club concentrate, which is being formed especially for Clubfusion and will be rehearsing intensively from May 15 for a presentation on May 20.

ABOUT CLUBFUSION
ClubFusion, the joint festival of the theater clubs of Schauspiel Leipzig, Oper Leipzig and TDJW, will enter its fifth round from 15 to 25 May 2025. This year, you can expect a festival line-up of 13 clubs in 30 events with around 200 performers.
The young festival format ClubFusion focuses on the themes of the people who meet in the various clubs and develop productions under professional guidance. The methodological and aesthetic diversity of the working methods within the theater clubs is reflected in the creative presentations of the participants. The festival aims to sustainably strengthen Leipzig's theater scene, create opportunities for participation in culture and art and provide open and diverse meeting spaces for people of all ages.
