Fynn Jacob's real name is Christian Kuhn and he lives in Langenfeld, near his native Cologne, but he has been connected to the North Sea and its islands since childhood. The crime novels

Marten Jaspari and Iska van Loon are set in various locations on both the German and Dutch North Sea coasts. Kuhn is a member of SYNDIKAT e.V., the association for German-language crime fiction.
