Gaerea is a black metal quintet from Portugal. Formed in early 2016, the band released their first (self-titled) EP on November 11, 2016 via Everlasting Spew Records. The EP received much praise from the worldwide press and it wasn't long before the first full-length "Unsettling Whispers" (2018) was presented. Like the subsequent albums "Limbo" (2020) and "Mirage" (2022), this was showered with praise from critics and fans alike and quickly made Gaerea the spearhead of modern black metal. Just two years after the release of "Mirage", Gaerea erupts with intensity and once again casts black ash over the world. Their latest release, "Coma" marks a sweeping change. An emotional gateway to a dark black metal scene, a guide to redemption, pain, despair and letting go. Upwards, into the blackness that is above. GAEREA is the answer, the only answer. Within the ten tracks of "Coma" lies an individual narrative, each with its own story to reveal. Their live shows have also become legendary and promise a unique atmosphere!

Chaver was founded in Leipzig in 2016 and has established itself as a dynamic force in the scene. The trio - Chris (bass/vocals), Winny (guitar) and Willi (drums/vocals) - have created an unmistakable sound that combines the aggression of death metal with the raw energy of hardcore. Their debut album "Transference" (2018) showcased the intensity of their style, which evolved with the critically acclaimed release of "A Cellar Door" (2021). Their latest album, "Of Gloom" (2023, BDHW Records), was again acclaimed by fans and critics and made Chaver one of the hopes of the German extreme metal scene.
