In the organizer's words:

Accompany an extraordinary league of musical legends who leave their cozy Nibelheim in the shadow of colossi together with Italian plumbers to venture boldly into warlike worlds. The philharmonic Amazons and instrumental warriors embark on a journey to the horizon in stolen cars as the sands of time melt away, where they are the last of us to take on angry birds and evil wizards. In their mother ship, the Philharmonie Südwestfalen, no star is too far away and no gaping abyss too deep for them to not only set sail in hijacked pirate ships full of assassins under their captain Ben Palmer, but to do everything they can to delay the game over as far as possible and earn the high score from you that evening.

A concert experience that will make the hearts of both the secretly gaming grandparents and the following gamer communities beat faster together. Gregor Kartsios, known in the gaming scene as the editor of Rocket Beans TV, will guide the audience through the concert at Game Music Live! with his expertise and enthusiasm.

As at the last Games Music Event 2023, anyone who wants to check out their own skills on the controller can put them to the test under the expert gaze of the Simple Siegen community on the numerous consoles provided in the foyer of the Apollo Theater - before the concerts, on Saturday, 10 May from 5 p.m., on Sunday, 11 May from 2 p.m., during the interval and after the concerts. Members of Simple Siegen, the youth group of Spielkultur e. V., will once again enrich the concert with breathtaking live gameplays in widescreen format. All accompanied by the intense sounds of the hottest games symphony orchestra far and wide.
