Gamechanger Brettspieletreff

In the organizer's words:

We are the Gamechangers - the board game meeting place. Since August 2019, we have been offering regular meetings for adults to play and have a cozy get-together. Since February 2023 we have been meeting in the premises of the AWO at Zweibrückerstraße 7 in Solingen.

You can play one of the more than 250 games available or find fellow players for your own games that you like to play. Drinks and snacks are available. We usually order something to eat at lunchtime and/or in the evening. The meetings are financed by voluntary donations from the participants. Everyone gives what they think the evening is worth.

What is the name Gamechanger all about? A gamechanger is a person who has a strong influence on something. He or she ensures that existing rules and mechanisms are overridden and replaced by new ones. We stand for the vision of enhancing the leisure activities on offer in Solingen and bringing adults together far away from the stress of everyday life. The name also fits perfectly with the theme of board games.
