The workshop invites children and adults to get to know and try out Indonesian gamelan music. By creating rhythms with everyday objects, a common sound is created. Kitchen utensils such as pots, spoons, glasses and chopping boards, objects such as stones, leaves and twigs, recycled objects such as cans, plastic bottles or cardboard are used.

In gamelan music, every player has an important role and every sound, no matter what it is made with, contributes to a collective harmony. Gamelan sees music as a form of communication that is about listening to each other, empathizing and creating a musical "conversation".
