Gankino Circus are back with a new program:

The opposite of rock'n'roll

In their new program, Gankino Circus put the focus on music. After extensive tours at home and abroad, countless appearances on large and small stages, on television and on the radio, the four musical high-wire artists are on fire more than ever: with their wild mixture of virtuoso folk music, unbridled rock'n'roll and unleashed polka pop, the boys set off musical fireworks - without a net or a double bottom!

As always, the four masterful musicians, gifted storytellers and oddball characters use humor as the fuse for this musical broadside: the West Central Franconian cosmopolitans blithely talk out of the sewing box, provide unprecedented insights into the big cabaret showbiz and report on the turbulence that comes with suddenly being catapulted from the world stage back to the sleepy village idyll of your own youth and being confronted with the opposite of rock'n'roll. Fields of tension open up, you couldn't make it up! And as always with Gankino Circus, handmade music, an enchantingly twisted stage show and a large portion of provincial madness form an unpredictable melange in which anything, but really anything can happen on stage ...

Fast-paced melodies, quirky humor and charming stage characters are the central ingredients of this unique concert cabaret - a genre that these exceptional artists not only invented, but have now elevated to a cult art form. Gankino Circus are currently performing four stage programs that have been celebrated by audiences and press alike: "Irrsinn und Idyll", "Die Letzten ihrer Art", "Bei den Finnen" and "Das Gegenteil von Rock'n'Roll".
