For decades, the Swede Mats Alfredsson pursued street photography in many countries around the world and also enjoyed having fun in pubs. His best resulting photos are shown in our exhibition "Kneipenlust". Mats' basic rule is: "I never make arrangements, never talk to anyone I'm photographing in advance and never photograph people I know or have already met."
The photographs in our exhibition were taken in pubs in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Chicago, Gothenburg, London, Miami and Rome.
The exhibition at Gastfeld is the artist's first in Germany.
