Climate monologues
With English, French and Arabic surtitles
The climate monologues tell of the worldwide struggles against climate change. They give an insight into how people feel the consequences of global warming in their own biographies.
"The images arise in the mind. More powerful than any news image. But the stories also tell of hope, of rebuilding and of commitment. A very urgent call to do something, to wake up." (RBB Kulturradio)
"These are harrowing stories that are also so powerful because they are real. Michael Ruf has long since perfected this special kind of documentary theater. The dimensions and consequences of climate change are understood in a completely different way here than in the news." (Berliner Morgenpost)
Followed by a discussion with experts and director Michael Ruf.
