Gaswerk Music Tech Day 2025

In the organizer's words:

New pathways in electronic music production and distribution
with Arturia, Ableton, and Peachz

As part of this year's Gaswerk Music Days, the festival devotes a full day to the tools and ideas shaping the future of music production - from sound generation and synthesis to recording, processing, and distribution. Hosted in the newly renovated BLOCK1, the Tech Day invites leading companies to present new products, plugins, and creative workflows in a direct, hands-on format.

Throughout the day, each participant will host a 45-60 minute moderated demo and Q&A, offering deep insights into the creative and technical potential of their tools - far beyond what a trade fair or online tutorial can offer.

The day closes with a playful recording session inspired by Brian Eno's Oblique Strategies - a semi-improvised jam using an ecosystem of Arturia synthesisers, Ableton software, and Peachz distribution, with the results uploaded under a unique festival account.

We see these companies not just as guests, but as part of a wider movement - rethinking conventions, challenging habits, and shaping what music-making can be today and tomorrow.

Gaswerk Music Days is the summer music festival organized by Gaswerksiedlung Berlin and taking place in its lush gardens, BLOCK1 event space, and creative studios. The event unites experimental electronics, African sounds, jazz, noise, avant-pop, kraut, improvisation and dance music under its "Radical Live Music" flag, binding and crossing genres in a program with over 20 acts on 2 stages.
