Gedankengang: 80 Jahre Kriegsende

In the organizer's words:

May 8 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and National Socialist rule in Germany. In order to keep the memory of this time alive and to deal with history against the background of current social and political developments, TU Dortmund University and the City of Dortmund are inviting people to take guided walks along the historical traces of the Nazi era through Dortmund's city center.

The Nazi era, persecution and resistance as well as the beginning of a new era will be discussed at several stations. The walk will be led by Dr. Stefan Mühlhofer, Managing Director of Kulturbetriebe Dortmund. At the Reinoldi Church, Prof. Dr. Barbara Welzel (TU Dortmund University) will give an impulse.
