Film series of the research group "Access to Cultural Goods in the Digital Transformation" in cooperation with the LWL Museum of Art and Culture

How are museum objects recorded, named and displayed - and what does this say about our view of their origins and history? The film evening shows artistic works that critically examine these questions: Pauline Hafsia M'barek examines the logic of museum inventories with "Object ID". Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński explores new paths in "Unearthing. In Conversation", Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński explores new ways of dealing with colonial photographs. In "Un-Documented", Ariella Aïsha Azoulay places collection and migration in a political context. The final film is "One Hundred Steps", a cinematic dance through European state rooms - as a self-confident response to colonial narratives.
