Reading & discussion / as part of the political series GEGEN DEN STROM
The nineties as a key decade of our present and future
The world we still live in was created in the nineties - and is currently collapsing. This book contrasts this with militant optimism. The aim is to use the history of this decade, not for reckoning, but for enlightenment. Because that's what it's all about: We need to train ourselves to think in alternatives again. We must recognize the possibilities that exist in every moment of crisis. We need to believe in our ability to act again, as individuals, in the community, as a democracy.
"Astute and with a feel for the deep currents of historical upheaval." Steffen Mau
