Admittedly, Gerd Köster could also read out the phone book and would captivate his listeners - simply with his voice, sex appeal and charisma. However, the singer, author, performer and sought-after audio book narrator prefers to bring along books by well-known authors and unknown treasures instead of a telephone directory. He reads old, current and timeless stories and poems by Heinz Weber, Christian Thill, Willi Ostermann, Woody Allen, Heinrich Böll, Gernhardt / Eilert / Knorr and others.Tragic, comic, angry, raunchy, noble and modest everyday heroes take us from the old Cologne district of Unter Krahnenbäumen via Ireland and the south of France to (almost) all the islands of the world.
