GERMAN ZEITGEIST - When art takes the pulse of the German present.

The Stuttgart gallery BETTER GO SOUTH presents the group exhibition GERMAN ZEITGEIST from June 5 to 28, 2025.

The show brings together works by renowned and up-and-coming artists who together paint a multifaceted picture of the current cultural, social and creative climate in Germany.

With works by the hip artists Toninho Dingl, Julius Hofmann, Moritz Lindur and Charlie Stein, the talented Alissa Ritter, the very renowned artists Jeppe Hein and Jorinde Voigt and the world-renowned illustrator and artist Christoph Niemann , the exhibition spans an arc between different artistic positions, media and attitudes - from conceptual rigor to emotional intuition, from digital play to analog depth.

GERMAN ZEITGEIST sees itself as a snapshot of a generation in transition - characterized by global networking, social tensions, digital transformation and the need for identity and expression. The participating artists each reflect these dynamics in their own way, creating a polyphonic portrait of the present.

The exhibition invites visitors not only to observe the current zeitgeist, but also to feel it, question it - and think it through with their own thoughts.
