A theatrical experience full of myths, shadows and voices from another world.
When the fog rolls in, they begin to whisper - the myths, the legends and the old stories that have never been completely silenced. With their new play, the Nebulae theater group invites you on a journey between worlds - to where the visible becomes fragile and the invisible takes shape.
"Geschichten aus der Nebelwelt" is a poetic journey: Thara welcomes the audience in the anteroom and guides them through the rest of the evening. Thara is a mysterious figure between life and death, between dream and reality. As a threshold and mediator at the same time, she connects the world of humans with the world of myths. Only through her do the doors open to those stories that lie dormant deep in our cultural memory and yet have lost none of their contemporary relevance.
We meet Orpheus and Eurydice, whose story raises more questions than it answers. We open Pandora's box and search for hope in turbulent times. Mavka, the soul of nature from ancient Ukrainian forests, appears to us in delicate melancholy and wild power. Erlkönig's daughter claims her own name and expresses her deep contempt for social norms and values. We roam through the Rhineland with the cruel werewolf Peter Stump. There we meet the Loreley, who finally gets a chance to speak for herself.
"Geschichten aus der Nebelwelt" is not a classic play, but an immersive journey into another world - characterized by flowing transitions, soft voices, physical closeness and sensual stimuli.
