WHAT WAS? WHAT IS? WHAT REMAINS?! HISTORY FESTIVAL DÜSSELDORF 2025

An open-air event for history and culture in the heart of Düsseldorf, a festival for politics and art, designed by young people and for young people (up to around 35 years of age): That is the history festival. In workshops, lectures and discussions, the festival will highlight the
remembering and forgetting in Germany and Düsseldorf. Open hands-on activities invite visitors to engage with the past and present and to ask their own questions. An event organized by the Düsseldorf Youth Ring in cooperation with the Düsseldorf Memorial and the Alter Schlachthof memorial site.
