Shared time. The festival on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The cultural institutions around Stuttgart's Konrad-Adenauer-Straße and Schlossplatz will be celebrating their special neighborhood for the second time on 9 June 2024.
The Main State Archives, the House of History Baden-Württemberg, the University of Music and Performing Arts, the Institute for Foreign Relations, the Stuttgart Art Museum, the State Museum, the State Gallery, the Stuttgart State Theatres, the StadtPalais, the Württembergischer Kunstverein and the Württemberg State Library will welcome all interested parties with a varied and free program.
The motto of this year's festival is "Shared Time" among neighbors and friends. The focus is on the exhibition of the same name in the Württemberg State Library, which sheds light on the topic of "time" as a social phenomenon and great cultural achievement and offers exciting insights into people's relationship to time. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will also be dance, music and spoken word performances, special guided tours and activities (e.g. "speed dating" - favorite objects and places) as well as a colorful family program and all guests are invited to spend their time in the individual houses.
From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., the popular "Hock am Turm" summer party on the HMDK plaza will round off the program and offer an opportunity for a relaxed exchange and to round off the festival.
