There is no reason why GHOSTWOMAN's fourth album should exist. Welcome to the Civilized World is born into a broken world
into a broken world - a tainted legacy. Evan Uschenko and Ille van
Dessel have no illusions about the futility of this endeavor
of this endeavor - and yet this work lives. It is an allergic
reaction to the times in which we live: a wound that forces us to scratch
a sputum of modern suffering that they could no longer bear.
