Giulio Erasmus and the End of the Worm - live

Giulio Erasmus' music swirls in incomprehensible mumblings, song structures and collapsing collages, all made with the idea of keeping things simple. In recent years, the former member of the formations D.U.D.S and Handle has created his own musical language based on sound system culture techniques.

Together with the band The End of the Worm, he creates soundscapes made up of powerful delay effects, metallic percussion, dark vocals, deconstructed electronic sounds and miniaturized melodies. Alongside field recordings and voice samples are descriptive and contemplative lyrics, while musical logics are reversed and melody and rhythm wind around them in confusion.

The concert series Sural is a cooperation between the Filmwerkstatt Düsseldorf and the Salon des Amateurs.
