Judy Winter has chosen Heinrich Böll's "Not only at Christmas time". She asks the question, what if it were Christmas every evening? In this story, Heinrich Böll takes a satirical look at the German post-war mentality and the irrefutable Christmas routine. Packed into a humorous narrative, he subtly criticizes the lack of reappraisal in the early post-war years.
