"Global Flash 2025"

A 100-strong group of course participants and alumni who make music in various constellations has emerged from the "Certificate course in music education for musicians from different cultures" run by the Landesmusikakademie NRW in collaboration with the Cologne University of Music and Dance.

On this special evening, the 18 current participants of the course will present their musical skills. In a wide variety of formations, they will take the audience on a multifaceted musical journey of discovery. In addition to prepared sets, there is deliberately room for improvisation and creative interplay. The musicians send out a clear signal: a musical plea for peaceful and inspiring coexistence.

The evening will be hosted by students from the Music Mediation course at the European Institute for Ethnomusicology at the University of Cologne.

Now in its fifth year, the concert series has long since achieved cult status. The evenings have always been characterized by a special atmosphere - early summer, lively, open - and have delighted a large, young audience.

Globale Musik Köln cordially invites music school directors and other multipliers of music education to experience the qualifications and artistic diversity of the course participants live.
