Open-air concert //

As part of the certificate course "Music education for musicians from different cultures" at the Landesmusikakademie NRW in cooperation with the Cologne University of Music and Dance, a diverse network of around 100 musicians has been created. On June 6, the current 18 participants of the course will present a multifaceted concert entitled Global Flash.

In changing formations, a musical evening will be created that provides insights into a wide variety of cultural soundscapes - characterized by personal stories, migration experiences and artistic diversity. Many of the participating musicians come from crisis and war regions and bring their musical traditions to the stage as an expression of identity, resistance and hope. In addition to prepared contributions, spontaneous encounters play a central role: the focus is on improvisation and musical dialog.
