When he calls, the biggest names from the German rock, pop, soul and hip-hop scene come to present a selection of their songs unplugged in new chamber music arrangements. For over ten years, violinist, composer and arranger Miki Kekenj and his Takeover! Ensemble have been developing these extraordinary fusion projects. After Maxim, Joy Denalane, Max Mutzke, Max Herre and Stefanie Heinzmann, Samy Deluxe now does the honors at the Glocke. The rap pioneer and music producer is an institution in German hip-hop. His debut album "Samy Deluxe", including his best-known song "Weck mich auf", was released in 2001, and he last climbed to the top of the album charts with "Hochkultur 2" in August 2023. When the lyrical and rhythmic power of the German rap veteran meets the emotional strength of the classical musical language of the Takeover! ensemble, the term high culture is sure to take on a whole new twist!
