G. Love is returning to Germany for three exclusive club shows as part of his UK + Europe 2025 tour with an unmistakable blend of hip-hop, blues and funk. From September 2 to 4, 2025, the frontman of cult band G. Love & Special Sauce will perform solo shows in Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin.

Since its formation in Philadelphia in 1993, the trio - consisting of Garrett Dutton aka G. Love (vocals/guitar), Jeffrey Clemens (drums) and Jim Prescott (bass) - has stood for a laid-back, grooving sound that combines rap elements with delta blues and urban funk. Their self-titled debut album G. Love & Special Sauce (1994) with the hit Cold Beverage quickly made them a permanent fixture in the alternative scene of the 1990s.

Numerous releases followed, including The Electric Mile (2001), Sugar (2014) - which brought back the original line-up - and the GRAMMY-nominated The Juice (2020). Their latest album Philadelphia Mississippi shows the band once again experimenting, deeply rooted in the blues and open to new sonic colors.

Known for their energetic and improvisational live shows, G. Love & Special Sauce are regular guests at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. In the USA, they are special guests on DISPATCH and John Butler's big summer tour in 2025, accompanied by many G. Love solo performances - proof of their unbroken relevance.

G. Love delivers a musical statement between street poetry and old-school coolness - and a concert experience that inspires with charm and spontaneity.
